Assistant Manager, Investment & Corporate Finance
Job Requirements
Qualification
Degree in Business / Finance / Engineering from premier institutions. Plus, CA/CPA/MBA with specialization in Finance.
Experience
6-10 years of relevant experience: of which the last 2 should be in similar role, preferably in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Business Advisory teams of toptier consulting / accounting firms.
Skills
Have a strong commercial acumen, research, analytical and quantitative skills, excellent English communication and presentation skills, Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, building good relationships with interna and external stakeholders, strong time management and follow-up skills.
Corporate Finance
- Evaluate corporate proposals and investment opportunities and assist in IPO listing process (as and when applicable).
- Involve in corporate finance exercises from fund raising to M&A projects, liaising with investment banks, rating agencies, Sukuk bond, auditors, lawyers, tax agents and other advisors.
- Undertake financial modelling on existing business and potential new investments including assist in forecast preparation and management.
- To perform a range of analysis that will include peers benchmarking, key financial ratios, comparative valuation, and sensitivity on different scenarios of a transactions.
- Analysing projects and making recommendation including research work.
- Prepare EXCO and Board papers on financial and corporate matters for approval.
- Prepare periodic reports and presentation materials to EXCO and Board on the group financial, operational, and corporate matters.
- Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings.
- Able to prepare information memorandum, presentation and other documents required for fund raising, or for authority purposes.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents and outgoing mail as necessary.
- To ensure work undertaken is of the highest quality and does not fall foul of any regulatory or legal requirements, and internal rules and compliance requirements.
- Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing communication and must possess good communication skills.
- To ensure work is executed expeditiously and within deadline.
- To assist in other ad-hoc projects.
- Report to Group GHICF or any person delegated by the GHICF
Group Accounts
- Monitoring and review of accounts and ensure that monthly, quarterly, and yearly management accounts and financial report are prepare on timely manner.
Senior Executive, Investment & Corporate Finance
