Senior Executive, Community Engagement - Dynamic Team

Job Description :-

1. Strategic Support

• Provide strategic support to the Head of YTA in defining and developing engagement initiatives and community outreach programmes for YTA as the charity arm of FOMEMA Sdn Bhd (FOMEMA).
• Formulate the engagement plans for YTA and execute fund raising programmes to support YTA’s key initiatives.
• Lead and manage approved programmes/initiatives and activities and measure the effectiveness and impact of each initiative against the pre-set objectives and goals.
• Build strategic collaborations with key community groups, whose work and mission are aligned with the YTA’s and FOMEMA’s priorities.

2. Brand Building

• Develop and execute communications strategy with the objective of enhancing and maximising the visibility and brand image of YTA and FOMEMA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives which includes social media, print media and other brand building activities.

3. Governance 

• Ensure all relevant approvals for projects are obtained and properly documented.
• Ensure compliance with the department’s SOPs and other FOMEMA’s regulatory requirements.   
• Track and monitor the usage of the budget allocated for the project under management. 

4. Disclosure and Reporting

• Assist the Head of YTA with the disclosure and reporting, which includes the monthly Management Meeting reports and any audit requirements as and when needed.

Job Requirements :-

• Degree in Public Relations / Social Sciences / Behavioral Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading community engagements in a small to medium-sized organisation/s.
• Experienced in addressing corporate-level processes and SOPs and familiar with emerging industry trend and best practices.
• Possess conceptual thinking and analytical abilities with strong communication skills.
