Key Feature Of The Role

The Copywriter—the great storyteller, is a significant role in the Comms department, to execute all public relations and corporate communications initiatives. The content that he/she crafts is to increase top-of-mind recall of the Malaysia Healthcare brand regionally and internationally.

Role Description

• To strategise and develop high quality content (press releases, speeches, soc-med, blogs, newsletters, brochures and all PR & marketing collaterals) 
• Execute PR campaigns, brand positioning initiatives and media strategies effectively across the regions
• Assist to maintain media relations and key media contacts 
• Support distribution of content across relevant media channels 
• Carry out public events 
• Execute initiatives established via partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
• Facilitates enquiries from media and other relevant parties
• Prepare reports on media monitoring and market analyses
• Execute related social media/digital activities
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and/or partners (e.g. agencies, vendors, etc.)
• Responsible for the timely and orderly preparation and processing of proposal papers, procurement documents
• Produce performance reports aligned with departmental and company goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Crisis communication support according to its SOP
• Any other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned by Management.

Requirement

• Higher Diploma/Degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Branding, Marketing, International Marketing, Mass Communication or equivalent
• 3 years of corporate communications/public relations experience in a corporate /public service/GLC environment
• Solid and versatile English and Bahasa Malaysia copywriting, editing and content creation skills with a keen eye for details
• A good storyteller
• Good in social media management (content and marketing)
• Able to think creatively and out-of-the-box for ideation
• Experienced in managing media (online, broadcast and print)
• Knowledge in other languages will be an added advantage
• Able to work independently yet in the team and have problem-solving skills
• Experienced in research and have good analytical skills
• Proactive, adaptable and works well under pressure and well-organised
• Knowledge of healthcare travel industry is an added advantage
• Well-versed in the latest advertising/promotion/marketing/soc-med trends, technologies and methodologies in the relevant fields
