Penerangan Pekerjaan - Senior Executive, Demand & Supply Planning


The Senior Executive, Demand & Planning (Supply Chain) is responsible for managing demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and inbound supply operations to ensure optimal stock availability and business continuity. This role works closely with Sales, Commercial, principals, and supply chain partners to balance customer demand with supply capabilities, minimize inventory risks, and support business growth through effective planning, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.


Responsibilities




  • Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts of up to 18 months at SKU and aggregate levels using historical sales trends, market intelligence, and commercial inputs.




  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial teams, and principals to incorporate latest promotion plans, new launches, customer plans, competitive activities, and market trends into forecast assumptions.




  • Lead forecast building blocks for new product launches and establish baseline forecasts for regular product ranges.




  • Plan & raise purchase orders based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and replenishment requirements.




  • Liaise with principals and brand PICs to confirm stock availability, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines.




  • Ensure purchase orders are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with internal SOPs.




  • Reconcile supply plans against demand forecasts to identify and mitigate stock shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks.




  • Coordinate with principals, suppliers, warehouse teams, and external supply chain partners to ensure timely inbound replenishment.




  • Monitor inbound shipments & delivery schedules to ensure stock arrivals & operational requirements align.




  • Resolve shipment discrepancies, short deliveries, and documentation-related issues promptly. 




  • Ensure timely and accurate goods receiving (GRN) processes and maintain complete inbound documentation records. 




  • Maintain accurate inbound and inventory records within DMS/WMS systems. 




  • Act as the key point of contact and subject matter expert for Commercial and Sales teams regarding inbound order fulfilment and stock availability.




  • Align with internal stakeholders on stock arrival timelines to support business activities, promotions, and customer demand.




  • Communicate stock risks, shipment delays, and operational challenges to stakeholders in a timely manner.




  • Analyze business risks and opportunities and jointly propose mitigation or recovery plans with relevant stakeholders. 




  • Coordinate with external supply chain partners & logistics providers to ensure smooth operational execution. 




  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain sufficient stock coverage across warehouses.




  • Track inbound replenishment closely to prevent stock shortages, overstocks, and slow-moving inventory.




  • Identify aging, damaged, excess, or non-moving inventory and recommend clearance or write-off actions where necessary.




  • Prepare ad hoc inventory, replenishment, and operational reports/documentation as required.




Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.




  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Procurement, or FMCG Distribution.




  • Strong experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, replenishment planning, and purchase order management.




  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.




  • Familiarity with ERP, DMS, and WMS systems is an advantage.




  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify supply risks and recommend solutions.




  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial, Operations, and external partners.




  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business requirements.




  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory, purchase orders, and operational data.
