Senior Executive, Finance Business Partner
Position Summary
This position is responsible to drive comprehensive financial and business analysis through detailed evaluations of financial statements, while ensuring the strict timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. Acting as a strategic finance partner across departments, the role translates complex data into actionable operational insights to optimize costs and keep expenditures aligned with the Annual Business Plan (ABP) for Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG).

Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner
Key Accountabilities
- Provide daily financial updates and advice to help manage operations. Analyze costs, profit margins, pricing, and sales results to see how the company is performing against its business plan.
- Regularly review company spending to find practical ways to cut costs and save money.
- Manage the preparation and adjustments of the annual company budget to keep it aligned with the business plan.
- Work closely with other departments to discuss business plans, align financial goals, and agree on future steps.
- Track financial trends and build projections to help the company plan ahead.
- Ensure all internal and external audit rules are adhered to, and fix any compliance issues within the required timeframe.
- Keep a close eye on operating expenses by communicating regularly with department heads to ensure everyone stays within budget.
- Coordinate directly with customers regarding payments and billing to keep cash flow steady.
Qualifications and Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a relevant discipline
- Professional Qualification i.e ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA etc would be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in Accounting/Finance or a related field
