Senior Executive, Procurement (Automotive Background) - Competitive Pay

Job Descriptions:-

a) Procurement - Resin

• Centralize resin material sourcing and pricing for resin materials.
• Nominate resin material supplier and transfer price to Tier 1, including setting up price mechanism to control market price fluctuation.
• Work with Engineering to find potential and competitive resin material supplier.
• Work with Engineering to standardize, VAVE, and optimize resin material specification.
• Centralize material supplier negotiation and communicate transfer price memo to interior and exterior group buyers.

b) Procurement - Steel Coil

• To analyze data and strategical proposal in line with company cost reduction target.
• Work on steel coil supplier base transformation and cost benchmarking activities.
• Work on material resourcing activities and steel material centralization.

c) Procurement - Exterior Plastic Injection 

• Cost control towards meeting BOM cost, execute category management strategies and VAVE activities.
• Negotiate and cost confirmation with vendors for new contract price review.
• Analyse product costing and exposure to global cost benchmarking.
• Suppliability assurance to meet various production milestone.
• Manage supplier supply issue due to financial, liquidation & natural disaster.
• Coordinate and monitor new project appointment, development and report preparation.

d) Supply Assurance

• Works for ensuring on time deliveries of components and parts for Plant production.
• Data Collection on Vendor Performance Based on production support data.
• Expediting reports and record keeping
• Field expediting visits and desk expediting.
• Maintain close contact with internal and external parties.
• Investigation of internal customer problems/complaints related to procurement.
• Audits receipts daily to prevent over/early shipments from vendors.

e) Vendor Management

• Able to understand the company Audited account data.
• Conduct the financial analysis from vendor Audited account.
• Analyze and propose which area to be improve based in the financial analysis report.
• Responsible to assist the daily operation for vendor data management.
• Preparation of approval paper for supplier event management activities.
• Summarize data using technical tools, accounting principles and relevant business knowledge.
• Support to organize Monthly Supplier Briefing and yearly supplier conference and award preparation.

f) Project Management & Localization

• Plan and monitor for vendor nomination plan, sourcing strategy, sourcing tracker, which align with project milestones.
• Preparation for Industrial-Linked Program.
• Finalizing new project development part list.
• Supply change management from KD/Sub KD to Local following localization or sourcing change to local suppliers.
