We are desiring to recruit a remarkable SENIOR EXECUTIVE TENDER AND CONTRACT to join our experienced team at DESTINI OIL SERVICES SDN BHD in Shah Alam, Selangor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To improve sales and service, develop and pursue new product and services to grow beyond 
  • Attend exhibitions and forums to market products and services.
  • Conduct engagement strategy for all key customers and conduct market research to identify new markets and products to pursue as business opportunities.
  • Develop and pursue new opportunities for the purpose promoting and marketing to the various Oil and Gas majors in the local and international markets.
  • Maximize contact with key accounts, key contacts and other critical people at various client organizations and focus efforts to obtain new work and generation of new enquiries for the business.
  • Manage the Sales & Business Development process to ensure the Division achieves sales targets in all businesses.
  • Ensure prequalification of the organization with existing and potential customers, to enable us to be in a position to bid for projects within our sphere of capabilities.
  • To ensure that the enquiries are screened and to determine a sales strategy, risk identification, profit potential and analysis, and to ensure communication of customer needs and expectations between Company and the client.
  • Ensure liaison with other departments as appropriate in relation to proposals, projects, legal, financing, tax, or other issues.
  • Foster and develop positive customer relationships which result in increased business. Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements and provide opportunities for Company.
  • Liaison with Estimation, Finance and General Manager and top management on submission of bid documents.
  • Interact with General Managers to maintain relationships with customers during project execution, especially from the point of generating additional work orders.
  • Provide inputs to management based on market information to enable the organization to develop capability in areas to give us strategic leverage for future projects.
  • Gather and analyst market intelligence for new projects and opportunities.
  • Assist in initial planning, time scheduling, histograms and other to supplement commercial offer.
  • Prepares contractual and commercial aspects of any support works and service tenders required by projects, in consultation with Project and Commercial Managers.
  • Participates in the technical and unpriced commercial evaluation of tenders and then leads the subsequent priced commercial evaluation of technically acceptable offers. 
  • Prepares techno-commercial evaluation report and recommendations. Reviews, advises and negotiates as part of constituted team, revised terms, variation order requests, change orders, claims in liaison with responsible management.
  • Assists project controls group in obtaining and assessing cost and progress data performance. Provides relevant data to the Contract Administration System and provides facilities for performance analysis of the historical tender / contract matters. 
  • Coordinates the final ‘close-out’ of completed contract(s) by ensuring proper resolution of all outstanding issues.
  • Ensure compliance with API Specification Q2, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 standards throughout the organization. 
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior and Top Management from time to time

 

QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Law/Mechanical/Civil or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years practical experience relevant to the work.
  • Familiar with Oil and Gas industry requirements and standards.
  • Able to communicate with all levels in the organization.
  • Well versed in working with Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia languages (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated, can work independently with minimum supervision
