Job Purpose:
- Responsible to assist in managing finished formulation development projects as the project-specific ensuring timeliness and successful development and registration locally and regionally, supporting the commercialization of the pharmaceutical products.
- Manage lab daily operation and maintenance.
- Manages new product development projects for ethical.
Key Accountabilities
- Take the leader role for the assigned development project communicating the plan, schedule, and execution to the HOD and other departments (Analytical, CA, RA, Production etc.) actively.
- Plan and perform formulation design and development with trials, with Quality by Design concept; focusing in ethical products and innovation.
- Prepare the design output (samples) and ensure agreement of Marketing prior to final development especially the content, the appearance, artwork, etc.
- Plan the pilot batches and process validation batches with manufacturing sites including material planning and tooling.
- Ensure GMP practices in formulation laboratory and manufacturing sites
- Ensure smooth operation of formulation lab.
- Train staff for the skills and knowledge in conducting pharmaceutical development and pharmaceutics technologies and machines handling.
- Plan and perform formulation design and development with trials.
- Plan and prepare stability study for samples and protocol.
- Plan and prepare documents for product registration application considering domestic and international standards; provide support for any correspondence from local and regional agencies.
- Plan and prepare BE study for samples and documents or prepare bio-waiver application.
- Adhere and support internal and external Quality Management System.
- Plan and prepare for pilot batch by preparing protocol, execution, collecting sample and then report according to timelines with technology transfer package.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor of Pharmaceutics/ Related Sciences
- 5 years in pharmaceutical R&D
- Formulation development knowledge
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing process
- Pharmaceutical development, regulatory, GMP
- Analytical abilities
- Project management
- Leadership, Teamwork, Decision making, Negotiation and influence, communication, and problem solving skills
