A day in the life…

Site Acquisition 

• Assist in sourcing potential properties through various channels, including online listings, real estate agents, and networking.
• Support in the initial screenings on prospective properties, assessing their suitability for acquisition.
• Coordinate property inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies to evaluate investment risks and opportunities.

Tenancy renewals

• Assist in reviewing lease agreements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate lease signings and renewals, managing documentation and timelines effectively.
• Review lease terms, negotiate rental rates, and facilitate lease amendments as necessary.

Existing Property Management

• Oversee facilities and preservation through repairs and maintenance, including major capital expenditure projects.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are well-maintained and presentable.
• Manage landlord inquiries, overseeing processes, and relaying feedback effectively to all relevant parties. 
• Handle internal stakeholder requests concerning operational aspects within the mall and liaising with landlords to address these matters promptly and efficiently.

Fit-out and renovations

• Support the project team to deliver on design intent/direction and provide input to buildout solutions when required.

Hot skills:

• Candidate must possess a degree in Real Estate, Business Studies or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in store expansion, retail development or property development.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with landlords, tenants, and internal stakeholders.
• Organizational abilities to coordinate property inspections, lease signings, and maintenance activities efficiently.
• Problem-solving skills to address operational issues and resolve landlord inquiries promptly.
• Familiarity with property acquisition methods, including sourcing potential properties and conducting feasibility studies.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Travels is required within Malaysia.
