Senior Finance Executive - Growth-Minded Organization

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against budgetary goals.
  
  2. Accounting and Bookkeeping:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  
  3. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  
  4. Cash Flow Management:
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs.
• Implement strategies to optimize working capital efficiency.
  
  5. Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
• Provide financial guidance and support to department heads.
  
  6. Audit Support:
• Facilitate external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.
   

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree and professional qualifications in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in financial accounting, preferably in a retail’s environment.
• Required skill: Hands-on with accounting software, good Microsoft application knowledge (Microsoft excel & word).
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in (speaking and reading) Cantonese, English, and Bahasa. 
   

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
•  Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, with focus in business financial planning, analysis, modeling, and forecasting, and supporting multiple functional areas, preferably in retail sector
• Computer literacy
• Able to work with minimum supervision. Self-motivated with good interpersonal & communication skills.
