Senior Finance Executive (MY)

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the preparation of full set accounts and oversee the month-end closing process on a timely basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and process vendor payments and expense claims with appropriate checks and approvals.
• Preparing bank reconciliation report.
• Assist in audit queries and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping in accounting systems.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and internal controls.
• Assist in any finance related tasks or automation initiatives.

• 7–8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
• Good understanding of financial controls, accounting standards and tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Suite) and Microsoft Excel. Coding knowledge will be highly advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
