Accounts -Responsible for the month end closing within the stipulated deadline.-Prepare a full set of accounts – AR, AP, GL, Bank Reconciliation, etc.-Prepare accounting-related reports, summaries and reconciliation.-Responsible for statutory accounts, audit and tax compliances as well as company secretarial matters.-Prepare Sales and Services Tax (“SST”) returns, be the liaison person for SST issues-Maintain digital and physical financial records.-Monthly payroll, claim, commission processing, including all statutory contribution for the local and regional team (Malaysia and oversea members)-Run errands related to government agencies, banks, company secretaries, tax agents, auditors-Maximize government's incentives (ie. Penjana), grants, loan opportunities-Other assignments to be assigned on an ad-hoc basis.-Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support-Organize dara into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as yearly growth, return on assets, return on equity and earnings per share-Oversee financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidaton, cost control and project control-Evalute and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.-Study a company's financial data to give advice for guiding business investments and overall financial strategy.HR and Admin-Assist in execution of HR functions including Recruitment and Selection, Compensation and Benefits, Payroll Administration, Training Development, Performance Review, Employee Relations and Orientation program.-Assist in recruitment process including advertising posting, candidate screening, interview and preparing letter of employment.-Assist in monthly payroll processing, attendance checking and leave maintenance for all employees.-Assist in review or improve HR policies and procedures to ensure proficiency.-Assist in departmental yearly job performance or job confirmation review.-Handling staff disciplinary, grievances and misconduct issues.-To ensure allowances and reimbursement claims are verified on time and accurately.-Prepare promotion letters, confirmation letters, Salary Increment letter and other HR related letters.-Assist in issuance of memo for any announcement from Management.-Updating employee personal records and ensuring proper filing from time to time.-To organize proper record and filing on all HR related files.-Liaising with government authorities to ensure company’s compliance with related statutory requirements.-Prepare monthly company manpower listing and headcount and also HR related reports.-Attend employees' queries pertaining to HR policies.-Any other tasks, projects or ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by HOD and Management.-Office furniture and Equipment maintenance [Apply now at https://my.hiredly.com/jobs/jobs-malaysia-aone-job-senior-finance-hr-admin-specialist]
-Must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or equivalent accreditation-At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the financial / accounting field-Must have basic knowledge in or the willingness to learn about bank loans, corporate and government tax matters, and company insurance-Familiar with SQL Accounting software-Able to work independently with minimum supervision-Self-motivated and strong analytical skills-Organized, Independent and a problem-solver-Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients
