Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Maintain and update job descriptions and job specifications.
2. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Promote a positive and inclusive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
3. HR Operations: Administer and manage HR policies, procedures, and programs. Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in Malaysia.
4. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee training and development programs. Assist in designing and implementing career development plans for employees.
5. Performance Management: Support the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions. Track and analyze performance data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
6. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Prepare and submit HR-related reports to management as required.
7. HR Initiatives & Administration: Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs, such as diversity and inclusion, employee wellness, and talent retention strategies. Maintain HR databases and records, including personnel files and documentation. Handle employee onboarding and off boarding processes.
