Job Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Support Executive based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be a crucial part of the IT Infrastructure team, reporting to the IT Infrasintegral part of the IT Infrastructure team, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Lead in Singapore. Your role involves providing essential technical support for a variety of IT issues, including hardware malfunctions and networking challenges. You will collaborate closely with end-users, address issues related to hardware, software, phone systems, and audio/video equipment, offering support both on-site or remotely.

Key responsibilities are:

• Manage, support, and monitor all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including physical servers, virtual machines (VMs), storage solutions, and networks (WAN, LAN, Firewalls, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users, encompassing desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Provide expertise and recommendations for IT-related purchases, including hardware, software, and networking equipment, and participate in the lifecycle of IT support processes.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance IT support procedures, aiming for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage all software and hardware licenses and maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance and up-to-date records.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT infrastructure components and operational procedures.
• Work in tandem with other IT teams to ensure robust IT infrastructure support. 
• Coordinate with vendors to support both local and international offices and retail outlets.
• Maintain and provide support for IP telephony, video, and audio conferencing systems.
• Be prepared to handle additional tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in IT support and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Windows server administration, Microsoft AD, Hyper-V, Office 365, and Mac OS. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, including structured cabling and patching.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• CCNA certification is desirable but not mandatory.
