Job Description
- Responsible on all the branch operations activities and ensure that the branch’s internal guideline, policies and operational procedures are observed by the employees when carrying out their assigned duties to minimize associated risks
- Responsible to ensure efficiency and quality services are provided to the customers with due compliance to laws, regulations, branch’s established guidelines, policies and manuals
- Overseeing the branch relevant processes i.e. include but not limited to over the counter transactions, remittance transactions, checking of all branch transactions
- Manage and monitor internal controls to safeguard their adequacy
- Responsible for regulatory reports to the relevant authorities / bodies
- Involve in reviewing and implementing process improvement to the branch internal guidelines, policies and operational procedures
- Involve in the branch’s resource and manpower planning, administrative issues, budget and planning related matters
- Lead and guide the branch employees to heighten their capability and capacity on branch operations duties and in promoting the bank products
- Collaborate with the other departments to ensure branch effectiveness, and maintain good rapport with the customers, other branches, Head Office, the Group and with other relevant parties
- To perform any other duties which are assigned
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance or any other related field
- Possesses at least 5 years experience in branch operation, preferable with banking / financial institutions
