The Role

Subscription payments are hard, we make it easy. 

As the sole Key Account Manager based in Malaysia, you'll be a valued member of the global Account Management team. You will be critical to ensuring Ezypay maintains and grows its long term and mutually beneficial relationships with key customers.  

You will work closely with the Account Director and be responsible for managing a number of our key customer accounts across Asia, ensuring their continued satisfaction with our product and services. You will have structured, regular, proactive engagement with our key customers to ensure we can proactively meet and exceed their, and our expectations. You will act as a point of contact and escalation, coordinating across a number of our departments, including Customer Service, Merchant Operations, Product & Engineering. 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management and account management. 
  • A strong team mentality and a focus on collective achievement. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. 
  • A deep understanding of subscription billing models and experience in B2B sales (preferred). 
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams, globally. 
  • Fluent in English.  

You must be able to:

  • Build customer relationships then positively, proactively, and confidently manage these relationships, across multiple stakeholders and functions.  
  • Embed Ezypay into our customers business while understanding their business and a deep level.  
  • Protect existing revenue and drive growth opportunities. 
  • Manage multiple priorities, keeping a sense of calm and a super star in managing customer expectations.  
  • Able to recognise areas of improvement, off-trend or skewed data, patterns that are not consistent which may flag areas of improvement – and liaise with stakeholders to mitigate. 
  • Develop a proactive engagement plan for each account, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are aligned. Including travel to customer sites.  
  • Prepare and manage account plans for each customer. 
  • Prepare, coordinate key stakeholders, and conduct quarterly business reviews with customers. 
  • Negotiate commercial arrangements and reviews with customers, demonstrating commercial and financial acumen. 
  • Accurately forecast.  
  • Prepare and confidently present data and presentations as required. 
  • Keep across trends in payments, ensuring you can develop knowledge and act as a trusted advisor to your portfolio. 
  • Be self-motivated, and driven, in a different country from leader. 

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role – account management & payments experience required
  • A proven track record of success in building and nurturing strong client relationships. 
  • Adept in forecasting and tracking revenue changes for appropriate action.  
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience in contract negotiation and renewal management. 
  • Background in SaaS/Subscription based business models (preferred).  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • A passion for learning and staying ahead of the curve. 
  • Someone who is organised and can manage multiple priorities. 
  • Someone who is self-motivated, can work autonomously and leads by example.  
  • A strong team mentality and a focus on collective achievement.
