Highlights:

• Basic salary: RM 8,000 - RM 10,000
• Working days: 5 days' work week, 9am - 6pm

Responsibilities:

• Build up and implement internal policies, code of conduct, contract management and other legal issues of Singapore Subsidiary.
• Responsible for drafting, reviewing and modifying contracts and other legal or commercial documents.
• Provide sound, accurate and in-depth legal advice to the Company (where required) on all matters concerning the Company's operation in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Deal with dispute and litigation affairs in cooperation with external law firms.
• Identify areas of legal and compliance risks and their implications on the Company and to implement suggestions/strategies for managing/mitigating such risks to safeguard the Company's interest.
• Participate in all kinds of transactions and commercial negotiations, including M&A, land acquisition, investment, financing, company restructuring, etc.
• Be part of the company decision-making process.
• Fulfil local and international compliance requirements, including AML, FCPA, GDPR, etc.
• Communicate and liaise with Chinese counterparts.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the headquarters of the Group.

Requirements:

• LLB (Hons) Degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 10 years' working experience in handling corporate matters including legal advisory on corporate, financial transactions, restructuring, corporate exercises, corporate tax, capital markets, dispute resolution, employment & industrial relations, litigation for infrastructure & construction industries.
• Minimum 5 years' working experience handling corporate civil, litigation, dispute resolutions, conveyancing matters.
• Past work experience in Singapore is a must.
• In depth knowledge of Singapore laws is a must.
• Effectively bilingual with good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin to communicate and liaise with both HQ China and local counterparts/customers.
• Preferably possesses work experience in logistics sector.
