Senior Maintenance Technician - Get Hired Fast

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. To perform a diverse range of maintenance tasks on process machinery, equipment, facilities, and utility systems within the company's premises.
2. To develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of the machine. Execute planned maintenance tasks according to schedules. 
3. To lead the problem-solving efforts within the maintenance team, assisting in the resolution of complex technical issues and trouble shooting challenges. 
4. To manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, tools, and spare parts, to ensure optimal utilization and productivity. 
5. To lead maintenance-related projects and initiatives, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation, ensuring that projects objectives are achieved within timelines and budgets. 
6. To perform troubleshoot faulty equipment, execute repairs, and replace broken components proficiently.
7. To utilize welding, cutting, modification, and fabrication skills to maintain tools and items as required.
8. To train and monitor the work performance of new Maintenance Technician(s).
9. To oversee the documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and spare parts inventories and ensure that accurate records are maintained for reference and analysis. 
10. To respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and critical equipment failures. Take appropriate actions to minimize downtime and mitigate production losses. 
11. To assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Support plant expansion projects and technology upgrades. 
12. To participate in compliance audits, including ISO audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standard related to maintenance operations. 
13. To supports quality team efforts by ensuring maintenance activities meet quality standard and specifications. Collaborate with quality team to address any maintenance-related quality issues. 
14. To engage in company activities related to training, employee activities, firefighting, health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
15. To work diligently to achieve department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall company quality objectives.
16. To undertake additional job-related tasks as assigned by superiors or management to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.

Requirements:

1. Minimum SKM Level 3. A diploma in electrical/mechanical/mechatronic or its equivalent will be prioritized.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience as maintenance technicians in manufacturing field with at least 3 years in supervisory positions. 
3. Proficiency in welding techniques is essential for the role. 
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. 
5. Completion of safety and environmental training programs, with relevant on-the-job experience in maintaining a safe work environment.
6. Flexibility to work in shift rotations and willingness to put in extra hours as needed.
7. Comfortable working in environments characterized by heat, noise, and dust.
8. Capable of working autonomously and adept at prioritizing tasks efficiently.
9. Strong team player with excellent collaborative skills.
10. Must exhibit high levels of motivation, dedication to service, and a strong orientation towards teamwork.
