Senior Manager, Business Line

About The Role

Responsible for leading the sales and Marketing of assigned Healthcare Alliance Pharmaceutical clients, including Novartis Opthal, SciGen, Hasten, Reckitt and other clients assigned to this role. This role required the person to drive portfolio strategy, sales performance, client engagement, commercial execution, team leadership, and cross-functional alignment to deliver business targets, market share growth and sustainable EBIT contribution.

What You Will Deliver

• Drive sales and product managers to achieve sales target across assigned clients through regular performance reviews of sales with internal commercial team and clients


• Initiate appropriate actions to ensure performance remains aligned with objectives and monitor progress in timely manner


• Ensure commercial team provides timely market feedback with clear action plans to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities


• Lead and guide Product Managers in strategy development and ensure smooth execution


• Lead and provide guidance to sales team across different client portfolios to ensure alignment with both marketing strategies and client directions


• Be the key contact with the Commercial Excellence team to ensure SFE and commercial excellence KPIs are achieved


• Monitor team SFE KPIs and take appropriate actions to close gaps in timely manner


• Proactively review customer lists with team to ensure accurate targeting and effective customer profiling


• Conduct periodic business reviews to track performance against goals and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement


• Support and guide the marketing direction of assigned client portfolios, including A&P optimisation to drive strategic KPIs


• Monitor product performance and market share evolution, and identify market opportunities for assigned clients


• Provide guidance to Product Managers on brand plan development and execution


• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders (i.e. supply chain, forecasting, inventory management) to ensure smooth business operations


• Provide ongoing coaching to Sales and Product Managers to strengthen team capabilities and performance

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in sales & marketing, strategic planning, and client engagement within mid- to large-sized organizations


• Strong business acumen with the ability to operate autonomously in complex, matrixed environments.


• Skilled in pharmaceutical sales and marketing including sales analytics, business planning, and competitor and market analytics.


• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic planning tools


• Proven experience managing cross-border and/or cross-functional sales and marketing role.


• Culturally sensitive with the ability to work effectively across diverse markets and business environments


• Degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Science or equivalent


• Master’s in business administration or equivalent is an added advantage
