ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 General Responsibilities 

• To define strategic road map on Enterprise Security Architecture and security patterns for the Organization
• Focus on developing security capabilities work plan and processes with Enterprise Architecture (EA) functions. 
• Participate in security capabilities, technologies evaluation and draft out recommendation proposals for adoption. 
• Identify and prioritize critical security requirements in collaboration with organizational stakeholders. 
• To perform security reviews and assessments to recommend security risk management measures. 
• Able to supervise within the function in providing guidance and mentorship to junior employees. 
• Support Senior Group Manager, Enterprise Security Architecture on tasks and assignments. 
• Support Group Information Security & Privacy (GISP) mission statements and assignments as required by Business and Management

 Business and Management 

• Propose enhancement to existing solutions that are aligned to Enterprise Architecture principals and business requirements. 
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure security requirements and risks are documented and implemented. 

Problem Solving and Decision Making 

• Keep up with the current emerging security trends and capabilities. 
• Proactive in identifying enterprise security architecture issues, gaps, and proposed changes for enhancement. 
• Team player and problem-solving skills with sense of ownership on assignments for both internal and external parties in resolving issues. 
• Exhibit resourcefulness in problem solving including the ability to think “out of the box”. 
•  To be empower decision making based on performance and tasks assignments. 

Accountability

• Accountable in ensuring assigned tasks/projects/assignments are delivered as planned.

Strategic Planning 

• Participate in GISP work streams planning sessions as required
   

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Professional Certifications: CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, SANS GIAC, CCSK, CCSP (preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting large organizations with a focus on Information security, Enterprise Management System, or IT.
• 5 years of experience in Security Architecture and Design for enterprise.
• Significant knowledge of major cyber security domains (cloud, infrastructure, data, application, IAM, etc.) and technologies, with a willingness to explore new areas.
• Experienced in performing Threat Modelling and security architecture reviews.
• Good understanding of Application development processes, CICD, and Automation.
• Familiarity with creating, implementing, and reviewing security standards in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, and Regulatory requirements.
• Ability to think critically and communicate security requirements and considerations effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with management and cross-functional teams in different locations.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Occasional traveling around the region is expected.
• Experience from a Financial Institution is an added advantage.
