Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President, Group Risk Management - Join a Market Leader

Job Responsibilities:-

The successful candidate will be responsible to provide support and assistance to the Head of Group Internal Audit & Risk Management in managing the Group Risk Management Department and also be responsible for the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management Frameworks within the Group.

Amongst others, the candidate's responsibilities will include providing leadership support for the following areas:-

• Drive the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) Frameworks within the Group.
• Management of Risk Management Committee (RMC) and Board Risk Management Committee (BRMC) meetings, including development of the agenda, reports and presentations.
• Manage and refine any relevant reports to meet the needs of Boustead Holdings Berhad’s RMC, BRMC and Board of Directors in order to support effective decision making.
• Review and update the ERM and BCM Frameworks for submission to BRMC.
• Interact and communicate frequently with the Head of Group Internal Audit & Risk Management, Senior Management and RMC members on business needs and opportunities, assess and articulate strategic risk associated with existing and/or new business activities and provide a framework to enable well informed business decisions relative to strategic risk.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise-wide BCM programme, and lead processes that support BCM governance requirements.
• Provide essential input as a senior risk personnel in the department and credibly challenge the management of current issues and the development and implementation of strategy.
• Review and manage the overall operation, budgetary and financial responsibilities of the department.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accountancy or the equivalent.
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage i.e. Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) etc.
• At least 15 years working experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
• Strong leadership abilities and experienced in supervising a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.
• Other important attributes include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, independent, highly motivated and resourcefulness.
