Job Roles :
- Provides manufacturing engineering support in new product development.
Includes development of assembly methods, assembly line layout and capacity analysis. - Participates on FMEA and DFM/DFA teams during product development.
Responsible for designing or purchasing equipment and tools to meet product specifications. - Provide work direction to assembly personnel and warehouse personnel during the implementation of projects.
- Suggest and participate in implementation of cost reduction activities.
Works with sensitive company design and quality data including specifications and costs. - Responsible for continuously improving production systems to ensure that product conforms to specifications while operating in the most cost-effective manner without compromising customer expectations, quality, or operator safety.
- Provide manufacturing engineering support in new product development, current products and assembly lines, as well as non-production functions.
Education and Experience:
Education :
Preferably Bachelor of Science in Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering.
Experience :
5 years or more experience in manufacturing environment.
Technical knowledge of paint application equipment is a strong plus.
