Senior Operations Manager

Job
Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory
Liaison & Compliance

• Serve as the primary point of contact with
  government authorities, including the Department of Environment (DOE),
  Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH/JKKP), and Bomba.
  
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable
  licenses, environmental regulations, occupational safety requirements, and
  fire safety regulations.
  
• Manage permit applications and renewals,
  manufacturing licenses, and regulatory documentation.
  
• Coordinate and facilitate site
  inspections, audits, and visits by relevant government agencies.
  

2. Safety, Security
& Risk Management

• Oversee and continuously improve safety
  and security protocols across the entire facility.
  
• Monitor and enforce Environmental, Health,
  and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
  
• Identify operational risks and implement
  preventive and corrective measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  

3. IT & Systems
Oversight

• Act as the internal coordinator for
  day -to -day IT operations, ensuring system reliability, network
  connectivity, and business continuity.
  
• Manage IT vendors, hardware procurement,
  software licensing, and maintenance activities.
  
• Provide basic troubleshooting support and
  coordinate with external service providers to minimize operational
  disruptions.
  

4. Logistics &
Supply Chain Support

• Oversee internal and external logistics
  activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods.
  
• Identify and resolve transportation and
  logistics bottlenecks.
  
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement,
  and production teams to optimize workflow and supply chain efficiency.
  

• Manage general office administration,
  including facility maintenance, office services, and vendor management.
  
• Identify and resolve operational
  bottlenecks, escalating issues when necessary to ensure smooth business
  operations.
  
• Track and monitor the progress of key
  operational and strategic projects across departments.
  
• Coordinate foreign worker recruitment
  processes and manage matters related to their employment, documentation,
  and welfare.
  

Requirements

Requirements

·       Experience:

8–10
years of operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

·       Industry Knowledge:

Strong
understanding of manufacturing operations; prior manufacturing experience is
preferred.

·       Technical
Skills:

Proficient
in managing IT -related matters and operational systems.

·       Regulatory
Expertise:

Hands -on
experience liaising with Malaysian regulatory authorities, including DOE, DOSH
(JKKP), and Bomba.

·       Communication:

Strong
interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively
with internal and external stakeholders.
