Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our high-tech R&D and engineering team, where you will develop cutting-edge solutions for the next generation of semiconductor equipment. 

In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team of toptier engineers, pushing the boundaries of motion control accuracy, cost-of-goods, thermal stability, dynamic behavior, and mechanical robustness. Your Responsibilities 

• Mechanical design of highprecision modules and systems used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing. 

• Translate system requirements into robust mechanical concepts, detailed designs, and validated solutions. 

• Develop, review, and support the team to create cost, mass and accuracy critical modules and parts. 

• Perform complex analyses (e.g., FEM, thermal, vibration, dynamics) to ensure optimal system performance. 

• Collaborate closely with mechatronics, electronics, optics, and manufacturing engineering. 

• Drive continuous improvement—in design quality, development processes, and product performance. 

• Ensure your designs remain manufacturable, costeffective, and compliant with industry standards. 

Your Profile 

You are an engineering professional with deep technical insight, a pragmatic mindset, and a passion for highprecision technology. You enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and working in a fastpaced, cuttingedge environment. 

You bring: 

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the semiconductor, highprecision, robotics, or mechatronics domain. 

• Proven experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, Creo) and simulation software. 

• Strong analytical capabilities and expertise in precision engineering principles. 

• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. 

• A structured, qualitydriven approach to engineering challenges.
