Senior Procurement Executive

Job Description:

• Assist and support the Assistant Procurement Manager or Procurement
  Manager in sourcing suppliers and contractors, negotiating optimal costs to maximize company margins.
• Monitor internal sales and production to proactively plan purchases, including raw materials, equipment, machinery, and maintenance parts.
• Collaborate with multiple vendors, assessing and selecting the best options based on factors such as price, quality, delivery speed, and other relevant criteria.
• Analyze pricing trends and market demands to determine the best timing and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely purchase order conversion for transporters and shipping agents. 
• Ensure all suppliers and service providers meet the company's product specifications, quality, and reliability standards.
• Conduct annual supplier performance evaluations.
• Address and resolve any supplier-related issues concerning logistics, product specifications, and quality.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department to forecast purchasing cash flow requirements.
• To compile monthly purchasing report and shipment report for management.
• Participate in ISO 9001 audits.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing activities, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings and vendor management.
• Proficiency in procurement software  and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience in audit participation is an added advantage
• Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Finance, and Production.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
