Qualifications & experience

• Possess Diploma / Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years related experience in Purchasing / Logistics / Sourcing / New product development.
• Proficiency in English is a must, while proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferable but not prerequisite.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience in corresponding and communicating with suppliers / forwarders / customers at international level.
• Hands on with Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, Word and Power Point.
• With Autocount knowledge & candidate from the IT/Electronic Industry will be added advantage.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from suppliers / vendors.
• Evaluate suppliers / vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the dialysis centres.
• Responsible to negotiate on pricing to ensure items and services are sourced and awarded competitively.
• In-charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on "Purchase Orders" delivery schedules to meet department / dialysis centres requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers / vendor performance based on quality standard, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectations.
• Liase with Finance Department and monitor monthly suppliers, vendors and utilities.
• Assist in research assignment on relevant topics to benchmark and facilitate comparison and decision making for continuous improvement.
