Senior Procurement executive (Mega Construction Project)

• Review project costing before work starts to ensure logistics costs are realistic and controlled
  
• Monitor ongoing project costs and compare against budget to avoid cost overruns
  
• Maintain approved vendor rate database and ensure pricing is always up to date
  
• Ensure all Purchase Orders follow approved rates, contracts, and company policies
  
• Verify vendor invoices against agreed rates, contracts, and POs to ensure accuracy
  
• Identify and highlight cost variances, overcharging, or billing issues
  
• Work with internal teams to source, evaluate, and onboard logistics vendors
  
• Negotiate rates with transport and logistics providers to improve cost efficiency
  
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure service quality and reliability
  
• Provide cost analysis and vendor performance reports to management for decision -making
  
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and audit requirements
  

Requirements

• Candidates from construction background (especially QS or procurement in construction projects) are welcome!
  
• Minimum 3 years experience in procurement, cost control, vendor management, logistics coordination, or related roles
  
• Experience in mega construction projects (e.g. EPCC, infrastructure, oil & gas, public transport) is an advantage
  
• Familiarity with project costing, subcontractor management, or construction procurement will be beneficial
  
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify cost issues and improve efficiency
  
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and vendors
  
• Strong attention to detail, especially in cost tracking, invoices, and documentation
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage
  
• Passion for procurement, cost management, and working in large -scale projects is important
