Senior Project Manager & PM - High Rise | Warehouse | Data Centre

Job Summary

Join a dynamic and driven construction team delivering large -scale, fast -paced developments across Malaysia. As Senior Project Manager, you’ll take charge of the entire project lifecycle. You’ll oversee a well -structured team comprising contract, technical, QA/QC, safety, and site operations units to ensure seamless coordination and on -time delivery of complex logistics hubs, townships or high -rise buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall execution and delivery of the project, ensuring alignment across internal teams (contracts, technical, QA/QC, safety, site ops) for smooth operations and shared outcomes.
  

• Act as the key point of coordination between consultants, clients, authorities, and subcontractors—building strong relationships, driving decisions, and managing expectations.
  

• Track construction progress closely against baseline timelines and cost forecasts; resolve delays and variances with decisive action.
  

• Monitor and analyze unit costs and daily site progress to ensure alignment with budget targets and operational efficiency.
  

• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities that impact cost, construction methodology, or delivery time; implement improvement strategies accordingly.
  

• Manage project cash flow, cost reporting, and budget health—proactively flagging issues and ensuring commercial targets are met.
  

• Provide guidance on contract administration and navigate contractual matters with foresight and clarity.
  

• Ensure quality standards and HSE compliance are upheld rigorously throughout the project duration.
  

• Drive project completion through to final handover and attainment of Practical Completion certification.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a project management related field.
  

• 15–20 years of solid experience with a main contractor, managing end -to -end project delivery across high -value developments.
  

• Strong track record in industrial, logistics, high rise or township developments
  

• Highly analytical with deep understanding of cost reporting, project forecasting, and commercial risk mitigation.
  

• Experienced in leading multi -disciplinary construction teams with clear direction and performance expectations.
  

• Able to communicate effectively across technical and operational discussions.
