Senior Project Manager - Fast Hire

Lead: 

• Plan master program.
• Plan site organization and site facilities.
• Initiate site mobilization, preparation and manage all authority submission requirements.
• Review project plans and specifications and advise on building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
• Control time, cost and quality of project.
• Control and monitor labour, material, machinery and equipment expenses.
• Identify and mitigate potential site issues.
• Lead and manage communication with customers and consultants.
• Manage and issue progress claims and invoicing at agreed intervals.
• Manage variation orders by expediting approvals and maintaining updated variation order list.
• Manage site personnel, workers, subcontractors, etc. relations and conflict resolutions.
• Represent company in CCM meetings.
• Reports to project leader on site progress.
• Depending on scale of project and workload, may manage multiple projects.
• Any other related jobs as assigned.

Project team collective:

• Study and understand construction drawings to ensure accuracy of construction on site
• Implement master program and monitor site progress to ensure on time completion of projects.
• Quality control and inspection to ensure works done are in accordance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor subcontractors, installers and vendors etc.
• Site organization and coordination (Machinery movement, material placement, workflow, etc.).
• Monitor site safety, security and cleanliness.

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Min. 10 years working experience in construction
• Required skill(s): MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD
• Computer and Microsoft Office application literate
• Good organization and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership skills: conflict management, negotiation and relationship building
• Good proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
