Senior Purchasing - Urgent Role

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Administrating all Purchase Order

Assist in procurement and management of subcontractors & suppliers

Assist in maintaining positive cash flow for the projects Work closely with and advise the site production team in respect with all contractual and financial matters

To monitor project expenditure, budget controls, prepare cost reports Cost’s estimation and analyzing

Claims submission, interim payments application, certifying payment

Valuation of variation and submission

Premeasurements and final account negotiation & settlement

Handle contractual related issues

Communicate with internal & external parties regarding contractual and financial issues Prepare documentations and proper filing system

Attend site meetings, technical meetings and coordination of meetings Generate purchase order/ hiring order/ work order based on material requisition order. Responsible in sourcing, selecting, and price negotiating with suppliers in line with project requirements. To ensure and monitor suppliers' capacity and competencies meet site delivery timeline and company’s expectation.

Maintenance of proper records and filing system.

Evaluates, negotiates, develops and manages suppliers to secure terms that are in the organization's best

benefits.

Coordinate and liaison with QS/Project manager for material specification submission.

Liaising with internal/external auditors to ensure compliances to Organization Guide.

Any others ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.

REOUIREMENTS

Candidates must possess Degree in engineering, business or other related fields. At least 3 years and above working experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Good oral and written proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.

*Proficiency in the relevant management software programs.

Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
