About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales, OTC Derivatives professional to join our Equity and Corporate Derivatives team in RHB Investment Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding client relationships, and developing the derivatives business across retail, corporate, and institutional segments. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Corporate Banking, Client Coverage, Trading, and Origination teams to deliver tailored derivative solutions and achieve business growth targets.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop and execute sales initiatives in line with the Equity and Corporate Derivatives (EQD) annual sales strategy and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external distribution channels to expand product reach and enhance sales performance.
Develop and implement marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns and online engagement strategies, to strengthen EQD product branding and market presence.
Drive client and broker engagement activities to improve brand recognition, deepen relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
Grow warrant market share and revenue through effective sales execution and client coverage.
Establish and expand the corporate derivatives business by working closely with Client Coverage, Corporate Banking, and Family Office teams to onboard new corporate clients and increase transaction volumes.
Build and manage the Total Return Equity Swap (TRES) business, targeting sustainable growth in notional exposure and revenue generation.
Partner with Relationship Managers to onboard clients, identify opportunities, and structure derivative solutions tailored to client needs.
Pitch and market derivative products and strategies to corporate and high-net-worth clients.
Coordinate with Trading and Origination teams to execute trades efficiently and ensure a seamless client experience.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Relevant experience in sales, capital markets, derivatives, investment banking, treasury, or financial markets.
Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives, structured products, warrants, equity-linked products, and capital markets.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to generate business opportunities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and communicate complex financial products and market concepts.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and market practices within the Malaysian capital markets industry.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and passionate about financial markets and client engagement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
