Senior SEO Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to lead SEO strategies and performance across multiple client accounts. This role covers keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, link building, analytics, and reporting. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and mapping for client campaigns.
• Perform detailed SEO audits and recommend actionable improvements.
• Lead on-page SEO, ensuring content, metadata, and structure follow best practices.
• Oversee technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, and site performance.
• Execute link-building strategies and support digital PR initiatives where applicable.
• Track performance through analytics tools and prepare reporting dashboards.
• Monitor algorithm updates, industry trends, and apply strategic optimisations.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients.
• Guide junior team members where required.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in keyword research, keyword mapping, and SEO planning.
• Solid experience in on-page SEO, technical SEO, and link-building execution.
• Hands-on experience conducting SEO audits and implementing improvements.
• Proficient in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.).
• Skilled in data interpretation to drive SEO outcomes and decision-making.
• Familiar with SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Certifications related to Google or SEO tools are an advantage.
• Ability to manage up to 7 SEO clients independently.
• Capable of mentoring junior team members.
• Track record of achieving strong ranking results (e.g., at least 20 ranked keywords per year).
• Motivated, persistent, and resilient in achieving SEO targets despite challenges.
