Senior Settlement Executive / Lead (Futures, Options) - Unlimited Growth Potential

Job Description

• Responsible for overseeing operational processes related to confirmations and settlement of Derivatives transactions
• Affirmation, settlement, client money daily segregation, regulatory reporting。
• Assist and support head of department on the project implementation.
• Assist in daily operations of derivatives product trade settlements processing。
• Identify and resolve derivatives settlement issue and make process improvement, recommendation to the team.
• Perform daily and monthly checks on transaction reports where applicable.
• Check and verify each process in the SOP, review periodically to improve internal processing.
• Assist in implementation of project activity in accordance with the work plan, including new product, services and system enhancements.
• Attend meeting with operations and development team to understand system processes and enhancement.
• Assist to highlight, escalate and communicate issue and problem faced within team assigned.
• This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and performance of Settlement team to ensure settlement transaction are processed timely.

Requirements

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business or any other related qualifications.
• 3-5 years relevant working experience in settlements operations environment within the banking industry.
• Good understanding derivatives operations especially Futures & Options product.
• Experience in handling project, system enhancement and UAT testing.
• Highly meticulous and organized
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
• Able to work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines, independent and possess positive attitude.
