You will report to our Software Engineering Manager, and you will based onsite in our Petaling Jaya office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will design and implement robust APIs and backend services using Python/Go.
• You will create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• You will mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to foster growth.
• You will build scalable database architectures and optimize query performance.
• You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features effectively.
• You will lead feature development from conception to deployment, driving technical decision-making.
• You will participate in Agile development processes and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• At least 4 years in software development with expert-level Python and Django knowledge.
• Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript skills, preferably with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experienced in RESTful API design, GraphQL, and experience with database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM optimization.
• Proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows, along with knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and experience with caching strategies and message queues.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, leadership experience, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and a collaborative mindset.
