Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineering, Business Technology

• Requirement Transformation: Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high performance application designs that align with organizational goals.


• Architectural Alignment: Design modular application components in strict adherence to established solution architectures and enterprise security standards.


• Full-Stack Development: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance for Findur customised components, interfaces modules and APIs.


• Data Modelling: Engineer robust RDBMS and database schemas to ensure data integrity and performance for high-scale, data-driven applications.


• Code Excellence: Champion industry-standard programming practices and comprehensive documentation to deliver secure, maintainable, and "clean" codebases.


• Incident Management: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support to resolve application issues, ensuring high availability and minimal business disruption.


• Deployment & Orchestration: Manage the seamless deployment of applications across testing and production environments, leveraging CI/CD best practices.


• Knowledge Transfer: Author comprehensive technical documentation and conduct training sessions to empower in-house Solution Support and Operations teams.

• Continuously develop technical skills with the rapid technological advancements.


• Ability to provide reliable and effective application support in meeting the service level agreement.


• Build good understanding of high availability design and concept (e.g. failover, clustering), applicationsecurity testing, windows desktop environment and server technology (Linux or Windows), authentication and access control principle


• Ability to work after office or during weekends, and travel to recovery site (whenever needed) forproject activities and for system support.

• Possess good business acumen and ability to understand business requirements to develop solutions that are fit-for-purpose and meet/exceeds business user expectations.

Academic Qualifications: Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering or relevant professional qualification.

Experience: At least 3 years working experience in software development.

Knowledge:

• Sound working knowledge of Java, .NET, and shell scripting.


• Sound working knowledge of RDBMS, MS SQL Server, Oracle.


• Understanding of networking i.e. TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, firewalls, etc.


• Working experience in Banking/Financial environment or its ecosystems will be a strong advantage.


• Working knowledge in Endur/Findur and JVS will be a strong advantage.
