Responsibilities:

JD: SAP BTP Integration / Integration Platform position

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions using SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management), Event Mesh, as well as other enterprise iPaaS platforms where applicable.
• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable, reusable technical solutions.
• Configure, deploy, and monitor integration flows across multiple platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for integration-related incidents, working closely with cross-functional technical teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, mapping documents, and operational procedures.
• Participate in testing activities including unit testing, system integration testing, and support for UAT.
• Support enterprise integration initiatives across hybrid landscapes (cloud and on-premise), including APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to the design and governance of integration standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks across platforms.
• Stay current with advancements in SAP BTP and other iPaaS technologies, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational development standards, security policies, and architectural guidelines.
• Mentor junior team members (for Senior Specialist role) and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.

Job Qualifications
> For Senior Specialist:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in integration, with strong exposure to SAP BTP Integration Suite and/or other iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.).
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios across heterogeneous systems.
• Hands-on experience with various adapters/protocols (SOAP, REST, SFTP, JDBC, OData, messaging/event-based integration, etc.).
• Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, security concepts, and authentication mechanisms.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging platforms (e.g., SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, etc.) is an advantage.
• Experience with additional SAP BTP services (e.g., Workflow Management, Business Application Studio) is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (e.g., Groovy, Java, JavaScript).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (SAP BTP, or any other iPaaS platform) are highly desirable.

>For Junior Specialist:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in IT with exposure to integration concepts or platforms.
• Basic understanding of integration principles, APIs, and data formats (XML, JSON).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and any iPaaS or middleware tool is an advantage.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP services is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and build expertise in SAP BTP and other integration platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Any scripting or programming knowledge is an added advantage.
