Job Description

Technical Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor the engineering team in project design, testing, and execution.
  

• Provide technical guidance for optimal system design, integration, and delivery.
  

• Resolve technical challenges effectively under pressure.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across project lifecycles.
  

• Analyze and recommend efficient and cost-effective design options.
  

• Prepare commercial and technical proposals for tenders (RFPs/RFQs).
  

• Optimize system design for performance, profitability, and sustainability.
  

• Stay updated with relevant standards, codes, and innovations in renewable energy.
  

• Maintain and improve technical documentation and project procedures.
  

• Provide technical support during project implementation.
  

Management Responsibilities

• Plan and manage resources, software, and equipment within budgets and timelines.
  

• Enhance internal systems and processes for better service delivery.
  

• Conduct technical training to build team capabilities.
  

• Manage team performance and career development.
  

• Identify and bridge skill gaps in the team.
  

• Report project and team performance to senior leadership.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  

• SEDA GCPV PV System Design qualification or equivalent.
  

• Minimum 5 years in the PV (photovoltaic) industry.
  

• Experience with electrical power and medium voltage systems (advantageous).
  

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership/supervisory/managerial role in a relevant field.
  

• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
