Role Title: Senior Tester - Banking/Capital Markets 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester to support end-to-end testing activities for large-scale capital markets and trading platforms. The role is responsible for ensuring all system changes, integrations, and releases are fully tested, validated, and signed off across upstream and downstream systems.

You will work closely with business, technology, and vendor teams within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, while also contributing to enterprise-level testing practices and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across trading and capital market systems.


• Prepare, review, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.


• Support SIT, UAT, External UAT, Certification Testing, Non-Functional Testing, and Disaster Recovery Testing.


• Validate integrations between upstream and downstream applications, APIs, databases, middleware, and trading interfaces.


• Perform frontend, backend, database, and reconciliation testing.


• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution and retesting.


• Collaborate closely with developers, vendors, business users, infrastructure, and governance teams.


• Support automated testing and test scripting initiatives where applicable.


• Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and sign-off documentation.


• Mentor junior testers and ensure testing deliverables are completed on time and to quality standards.


• Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software testing within financial services, or capital markets environments.
  


• Hands-on experience in manual and/or automated testing.
  


• Strong knowledge of SIT, UAT, Certification Testing, and production validation processes.
  


• Experience with APIs, database testing, interface testing, and real-time transaction processing.
  


• Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
  


• Knowledge of SQL and backend data validation.
  


• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, or UFT is an advantage.
  


• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  


• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
