Senior UI/UX Designer - Hiring Immediately

About CUSTA & Our UI/UX Designer Position

CUSTA, a rapidly growing Mass Customzation platform in Malaysia and  was invested by a renowned Japanese-listed company. We are currently looking for highly motivated and dynamic individuals who will dramatically improve the experience of our product and evolve it into a platform loved by more and more people in the Southeast Asia.

As the initial designer for our e-commerce platform, your mission is to design and build the platform for the Southeast Asian market. We expect you to create a seamless customer experience by utilizing your expertise in developing web services/platforms.
We're seeking a designer who is passionate about contributing to a wide range of projects, such as graphic design, customer surveys, and more, as we are an early-phase business.

Job Description

• Excellent UI/UX Design: Discover and define customers' potential demands/pains, design user interfaces/experiences across our platform.
• Collaborative Product Design: Collaborate with Business Owner, Product Manager, and Software Engineer to ensure seamless integration of design, business strategy and technology.
• Brand Value Improvement: Enhance CUSTA's brand value by being involved in the communication design both inside and outside the platform. Make our brand loved by customers, production partners, and our team members.
• Communication & Reporting: Clearly present the UI/UX design concepts, execution plans, progress, and reports.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in Mass Customization and related areas, continuously seeking new value propositions.
• Technology Exploration: Remain curious about new technologies and products, exploring their potential application to the platform.
• Graphic Design Support: Create designs for marketing, sales and Customer Relationship Management activities. (if possible)

Job Requirements

Essential

• Over 5 years experience in UI/UX design either on multi-national web service, online platform, e-commerce and/or marketplace business.  
• A proven track record of achieving a positive business impact by improving the user experience.
• Experience in designing wireframes of product features by using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
• High customer behaviour/needs acumen, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• A self-starter who's adaptable and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Plus factors

• Growth-hacking experience in early-phase business with various stakeholders.
• Experience in agile scrum development with task and project management tools like Clickup, JIRA, etc.
• Experience in designing and executing customer research/surveys.
• Experience in graphic designs like web banners and email magazines using Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign tools.
• Experience in agile scrum development with software engineers.
• Experience in front-end engineering.

Basic Information

• Employment Type: Full Time (Probationary Period: 3 Months)
