SERVICE ENGINEER / BIOMEDICAL ENGINEER

Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices (Healthcare & Medical)

Lead a team of engineers to develop, implement and maintain in-house and outsourced biomedical services program for all biomedical equipment by completing repairs, preventive maintenance as well as testing and commissioning through processes of compliance to all statutory requirements and service excellence. Other key functions will include leading the team in the implementation of all functions related to safety testing, repair and maintenance of biomedical patient care equipment as well as providing training and technical guidance regarding equipment operations, standards and maintenance.

• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
• Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
• Optimizing machine efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
• Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of devices and equipment.
• Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
• A minimum of two years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
• Extensive knowledge of technical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Proficiency in machine diagnostic testing software.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Great organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
• Knowledge in Installation, repair, and T&C of Medical Equipment and devices
• Responsibility to check and troubleshooting warranty claim product.
• Responsible for identification, assessment, business solicitation and market opportunities for diverse range of Testing and Certification services for Medical and Healthcare related products. 
• Be willing to travel within Malaysia
• Authorized Biomedical Technical personnel by MDA

Requirement:

• Education / Professional Qualification 
• Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering / Medical Electronics Engineering 
• Good understanding of equipment maintenance systems. 
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) 
• Willing to be on-call after office hours, weekends and Public Holidays
• Minimum 2 years working experience in maintenance of biomedical equipment
