The common shared infrastructure services engineer will be part of Infrastructure Delivery responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of core enterprise services that underpin the organization\u2019s IT environment. This includes DNS, DHCP, NTP, internal Certificate Authority, Active Directory, and SMTP services. The role ensures these services are reliable, secure, compliant, and available to support business operations and safeguard critical IT services against outages, cyber threats, and operational risks.\n\nThe individual will also support governance over disaster recovery, continuity planning, and resilience assurance programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, alignment to business objectives, and readiness to respond effectively to incidents.\n\nThe Job\n\n * Administer and maintain DNS, DHCP, NTP, internal CA/PKI, AD, and SMTP systems.\n * Monitor availability, capacity, and performance of services, ensuring adherence to SLAs.\n * Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and escalations.\n * Design and implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements to shared infrastructure services.\n * Contribute to service automation, standardization, and process improvement.\n * Integrate common shared infrastructure services with other infrastructure platforms (cloud, hybrid, security tools).\n * Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.\n * Manage configurations of common shared infrastructure services securely to prevent vulnerabilities.\n * Support certificate lifecycle management and security practices.\n * Work closely with technology tower leads (e.g., Compute, Network, Backup, Storage) to recommend design improvements and resilience enhancements.\n * Support infrastructure projects that depend on infrastructure core services availability and reliability.\n * Document architectures, procedures, and operational runbooks.\n * Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.\n * Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.\n * Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.\n\n\n\nWe are looking for people who\n\n * A bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science / IT, or diploma in a relevant field.\n * Strong expertise in IT infrastructure domains (compute, storage, backup, network, middleware, cloud).\n * More than 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in resilience, architecture, operations, or infrastructure assurance roles.\n * Solid understanding of resilience principles such as redundancy, high availability, failover, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.\n * Ability to assess complex architectures and recommend resilience improvements.\n * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\n * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence technology teams and project managers.\n * Proven track record of leading resilience or high-availability improvement initiatives.\n * Experience collaborating across multiple technology towers and project delivery teams.\n * Strong technical expertise in: Microsoft Active Directory (user/group management, GPO, domain controllers).\n * DNS \u0026 DHCP administration (Microsoft DNS, Infoblox, or equivalent).\n * NTP configuration and synchronization best practices.\n * PKI/Internal Certificate Authority (certificate lifecycle, CRL, OCSP, key management).\n * Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing).\n * Security principles (authentication, encryption, TLS, certificate validation).\n * Knowledge on scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or Ansible) will be an advantage.\n * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\n * Core Infrastructure \u0026 Microsoft Windows related certifications are preferred.\n * High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.\n * Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.\n\n\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
