Your responsibilities:

Liaise with utilities providers/consumers such as TNB, DOSH/NIOSH, DOE, JKKP, BOMBA, ST and other regulatory bodies on registration, generating & utility Services and compliance issues.

Conduct monitoring, trending and tracking of daily power generation/consumption of the plant as well as preventive maintenance to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failure.

Maintain and update electrical logbooks, records, maintenance checklists and reports to ensure electrical installations are compliant with statutory inspections and audits.

Plan, directs and coordinates periodic inspection and maintenance of 11kV switchgear, transformer and protection systems and LT system.

Supervise the work of Operation and Maintenance Services Team and Contractors and ensure Company safety procedures are adhered and complied while carrying out their duties working on live facilities/fields.

Prepare Major Breakdown Report (MBR) as per Engineering SOP in the event of major breakdown within 48 hours.

Ensure the safety of personnel, property, machinery and equipment in the factory by implementing and recommending safety measures.

Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively

Requirements for the role:

(Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia) Possess certificate of competency BO category 11KV certificate issued by Energy commission
Have 3 – 5 years working experience in manufacturing plant including operating and maintaining HV/LV systems.
Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices and Kaizen

Experience reading and tracing P&ID drawings, Electrical drawing

Require skill, safety alert, able to and follow written instruction in English

Possess good understanding and working member on ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO18001 and IATF16949 management system.
