SHIPPING ASSISTANT (SUNGAI PETANI KEDAH) - Competitive Pay

Job Description

• 8am - 6pm, 5 working days
• MNC based company, Manufacturing company

Job Responsibility

• To ensure in-coming Shipping Instruction is in order and correct before departure of shipment.
• To monitor payment or Letter of Credit status.
• To check on Letter of Credit for compliance and requirement for amendment.
• To ensure prompt preparation and presentation of shipping documents as per Shipping Instruction or Letter of Credit.
• To coordinate with customer service/production department to ensure production is carried out to meet shipment.
• To liaise with Customer Service or Logistics and Warehouse department to ensure smooth outward movement of goods to meet vessel closing time.
• To ensure receipt of Booking Confirmation with correct information.
• To ensure Container Booking List is in order and has been distributed to all relevant departments.
• To ensure prompt preparation of Pre-Shipment Documents for customs declaration.
• To coordinate with marketers and customers to ensure shipment scheduled and documentation prepared as per their request.
• To report any shipping issues and cost conscious.
• To carry out any job assigned by HOD and the management from time to time

Requirements

• Candidate must posses at least a spm / stpm / diploma / degree in any related field.
• 1 - 3 years of working experience in manufacturing environment is preferable
• 1 Full time position available
• Self motivated & passionate , ability to work independently & as a team.
• Applicants must be willing to work at Sungai Petani
