The Avanade SMEC business unit is searching for a proactive and analytical Junior Content Manager to join our team, supporting strategic product launches, sales initiatives, and highlighting business success and growth. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting, organising, and optimising key content assets that drives revenue growth, strengthens client relationships, and aligns with our commercial strategy.
You will work closely with the SMEC strategic content lead and Chief Growth Officer to create a regular drumbeat of data, stories and broader content to ensure we continue to grow our new business unit and achieve our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of content strategies that support sales objectives and enhance employee, client and Microsoft engagement and enablement.
Collaborate closely with sales, , and alliance management teams to ensure all content is tailored to support lead generation, employee engagement, and conversion goals.
Maintain and update sales enablement materials, case studies, presentations, employee stories and proposals to ensure relevance and impact in client interactions.
Contribute to the creation of editorial calendars aligned with sales campaigns and key strategic milestones, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact content.
Analyse content performance metrics (such as engagement and conversion rates), preparing reports for sales and leadership teams to inform future tactics.
Research industry trends, competitive positioning, and client needs to inform content direction and support strategic initiatives.
Edit and proofread content for clarity and effectiveness, ensuring materials communicate value propositions and business outcomes.
Support management of content management systems (CMS), ensuring sales assets are easily accessible and up-to-date in partnership with marketing.

Work closely with senior leaders across the SMEC community, Growth Office, Marketing, Sales, HR, and Practices.
Operate comfortably in a matrixed, global environment—aligning multiple stakeholders across our regions & Areas without direct authority.

Strong storyteller and content creator
Degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on business value.
Attention to detail and a strategic mindset, able to connect content to broader sales goals.
Understanding of sales processes, CRM tools, and strategic planning best practices.
Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore) is advantageous.
Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation tools.

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to role, skill set and level of experience. In compliance with local law, Avanade is disclosing a reasonable range of compensation for the role and information on benefits offered is here. The range of starting pay for this role is $147,000 - $170,000.
