Job Description:

As the Social Media & PR Manager at The Body Shop Malaysia, you will play a pivotal role in driving our brand presence and engagement across various digital platforms and media channels. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic social media and PR initiatives to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and ultimately contribute to the achievement of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversion rates.
• Manage and oversee all social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring consistent brand messaging and content quality.
• Plan and execute PR campaigns and activations to generate positive media coverage and enhance brand reputation.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, bloggers, and other relevant stakeholders to secure media placements and partnerships.
• Monitor social media trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Analyze social media and PR performance metrics, track KPIs, and generate regular reports to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (such as Marketing, Sales, and Product Development) to align social media and PR activities with overall business goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative strategies to enhance our digital presence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience at least 3 years in social media management, PR, or digital marketing, with a track record of delivering successful campaigns and activations.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content.
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using social media analytics tools to track performance and ROI.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in Retail industry is a plus.
