JOB TITLE:       Social Media Associate

DEPARTMENT: Digital Marketing

REPORTS TO:
 Regional Head of Social Media + Augustman Malaysia Team

JOB SUMMARY:

BurdaLuxury Malaysia is seeking a passionate and proactive Social Media Associate for Augustman Malaysia who lives and breathes digital culture. If you're sharp with words, quick on trends, and have a flair for creating bold, visual-first content that speaks to modern men - this one’s for you. You’ll work closely with a regional and local team to grow our presence across platforms, create content that clicks, and help define what style, culture, and luxury mean today.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Run day-to-day content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and more where necessary


• Own, plan and schedule posts under the support from Editorial, Social and Growth team


• Write sharp, smart captions and copy that speak the Augustman tone


• Spot trends, scroll with purpose, and pitch ideas that cut through the noise


• Edit Reels and short-form videos using tools like CapCut, InShot, or Mojo


• Work with our editorial team to amplify stories across platforms to ensure all print or website contents are well publicised on socials


• Cover events with speed and style, from live stories to post-event recaps


• Step in front of the camera when needed, in content creation for the brand with support and prep from the Social Media Manager, Growth Manager and Editorial Team


• Engage with our audience and keep the community buzzing


• Assist in cover shoots and content IPs for the brand
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Educational background in Digital Marketing, Media, Communications or related fields


• Passionate about lifestyle, men’s style, and modern luxury trends


• Confident in writing UK English with flair and clarity


• Curious, adaptable, and fast on your feet with ideas


• Comfortable with Canva, Mojo, CapCut, or similar tools in content creation


• Ability to make data-driven decisions based on tools like Brandwatch or Emplifi


• A team player with strong communication and attention to detail


• Based in Kuala Lumpur, and ready to hit the ground running
