Software Engineer - AI/ML (Fresh Graduate)

Overview:

This position focuses on designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and AI solutions to address complex business problems. As an AI and Machine Learning Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and project goals. Your role will involve developing algorithms, training models, and integrating these models into production systems to deliver intelligent, data-driven solutions.

Salary:

This role is exclusively open to fresh graduates.

A basic salary of RM 6,000 (non negotiable) + EPF, SOCSO, EIS.

This is a full-time position under direct company payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of machine learning algorithms for our intelligent auto-scheduling system and additional ML solutions.

• Optimize and tune algorithms to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure quality and relevance for model training.

• Work on various AI-related tasks, such as Optical Character Recognition (OCR), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and other specialized AI applications.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the smooth integration and functionality of ML models within our infrastructure.

• Continuously evaluate and iterate on machine learning models to enhance performance based on metrics and feedback from operational teams.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI, machine learning, data science, and logistics technologies to maintain our competitive edge.

• Communicate technical concepts and results effectively across different levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

We are looking for top graduates with strong coding & AI skills.

• Bachelor degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Preferably local candidates residing in Malaysia only.

• Strong in programming languages such as Python, and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Experience in optimization algorithm for Machine Learning.

• Strong coding, maths and problem solving skills.

• Candidates with personal or hobby portfolios showcasing AI/ML will receive priority consideration.

• Demonstrates willingness, openness, and the ability to quickly learn the technology stacks used here.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by a friendly and positive attitude towards collaboration with peers and teams.
