Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer who has experience in both manual and automation testing, coupled with a good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The Job:

1. Test Automation & Scripting

• Design and develop automated test scripts for web/mobile applications, ensuring integration with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and scripts in collaboration with QA Engineers.

2. Testing Strategy & Execution

• Develop test plans, test cases, and execution scripts based on product requirements and features.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing across multiple platforms and environments.

3. Process Improvement & QA Standards

• Define, review, and enhance testing practices, tools, and workflows to support scalable quality assurance.
• Implement safeguards against regression and improve early defect detection.

4. Production Monitoring & KPI Alignment

• Monitor post-deployment changes to ensure they meet expected business KPIs.
• Collaborate with Product and Dev teams to validate production impact.

5. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

• Guide and support junior QA team members through training, test reviews, and best practice sharing.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.

6. Issue Reporting & Risk Communication

• Communicate bugs, issues, and risks clearly to the QA Lead or relevant stakeholders.
• Track resolution status and support mitigation efforts.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Software Engineering, or a relevant major.
• At least 4 years of working experience in a quality assurance position.
• Proven hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience in SQL, including the ability to design and manipulate test data and validate stored testing procedures.
• Possesses a good understanding of the testing life cycle and Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a commitment to the team's schedules and goals.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
