Sourcing Executive

 Responsibilities:

• Work with Engineering on New Product Development to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers
• Interact with Engineering teams to ensure suppliers are involved in development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability.
• Coordinate, source and negotiate cost-effective solution for RFQ
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the organization’s goals
• Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology. 
• To participate in supplier selection and qualification.
• To carry out regular supplier audits and prepare necessary reports.
• To compile a AVL database on existing and new suppliers & keeping all relevant information and details about each supplier.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with production schedules and project timelines.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies and innovations in CNC machining.
• Identify potential new vendors and evaluate their capabilities to expand the supplier base and improve sourcing option.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as material science, mechanical engineering or CNC manufacturing technology.
• 5-6 years experience in a CNC machining role focusing on material selection, processing, procurement or supply chain management with some experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of different types of materials used in CNC manufacturing, including sheet metal, plastic and composites. 
• Familiarity with the material properties, machining parameters and optimization techniques with the ability to understand and analyze technical specification.   
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. 
• Good supervisory & leadership skills can communicate effectively and motivate the team effectively.
