As a Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement, you will manage the buying process for a given set of goods. You will apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
 

As a Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement, you will be responsible for:
 

• Sourcing and procuring direct and indirect parts and services
• Managing the purchase operations to ensure purchase orders meet budget, On-Time-Delivery, and productivity targets
• Managing supplier relationships to understand the business, gather market intelligence, assess risk and ensure compliance to KPIs
• Overseeing the sourcing and buying process to ensure products are delivered according to quality, specifications, and budgets
• Soliciting and evaluating proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise
• Initiating Requests for quote (RFQs), execute Purchase Orders and perform procurement activities within project requirements, in accordance with company procedures.
• Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.

Fuel your passion
 

To be successful in this role you will:
 

• Have a Bachelor's from an accredited uni or college
• Have at least 5-7 yr experience gained in the sourcing/ buying/ procurement
• Have some knowledge of General accounting in SAP
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and suppliers
• Have Mechanical engineering or experienced in engineering companies with technical background (preferred)
